Follow Jesus

Follow God's example in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love for others, following the example of Christ, who loved you and gave Himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins.  And God was pleased, because that sacrifice was like sweet perfume to Him. Ephesians 5:1-2 NLT

We are almost one month into 2013 and it has passed quickly.  Our time is spent praying and seeking the Lord's direction for us and the ministry.   We know that we will be traveling but the Lord has not given us a leaving date.  We receive daily calls, texts and Facebook messages from people asking for prayer and sharing the deepest needs in their lives.  Many people are hurting and we have the words of life and hope for them.  We love sharing Father's Word and listening with attuned ears to the words they speak.  We are so thankful that Father has given us ears to hear and hearts to give much love.  During this new year the Lord is showing us afresh and new His amazing grace, love and favor.  We will have a new grandchild born in August and we will have another grandchild graduate from high school.  For over 13 years we have been following the Lord's directions through Christ's Kingdom Ministries and we look forward to more traveling, pastor encouragement and spending time with spiritually adopted family.

The Lord has also given us His direction to Pursue Him and to Come Into His Presence.  In my devotional I have read many scriptures and comments to go along with both of these directives.  Father wants us to seek Him with our whole heart, Matthew 6:33 and He also wants us to spend much time IN HIS PRESENCE where there is Fullness of Joy (Psalm 16:11), and in Colossians 2:9 which says: For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, and you are complete through your union with Christ.  He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe.

In this season we must study the Word so  that we know the truth and we can walk in the truth daily living our lives as a sweet aroma unto the Lord.  Be bold, be strong, for the Lord our God is with us!

We love you,

Charley & Karen
